📚 Crypto Education Post #4 – “What’s the Difference Between Coins and Tokens?”

> 💡 Crypto Coins vs Tokens — What’s the Difference?

🪙 Coins:
Coins are native to their own blockchain.
Think of them like the “main currency” of a network.

🔹 Examples:
• Bitcoin (BTC) → Bitcoin blockchain
• Ether (ETH) → Ethereum blockchain
• BNB → BNB Chain

📦 Tokens:
Tokens are built on top of an existing blockchain.
They usually represent something — like a project, utility, or even a stablecoin.

🔹 Examples:
• USDT, UNI, LINK → All tokens on Ethereum
• SHIB → Token on Ethereum
• CAKE → Token on BNB Chain

✅ Simple Rule:
If it runs on its own blockchain, it’s a coin.
If it runs on another blockchain, it’s a token.
