ROBERT REDFORD HAS DIED, A COMMITTED ACTOR

"We live under an economic and financial model that oppresses the individual," said Robert Redford, whom I will always remember in The Human Beast, a film by Arthur Penn that denounces intolerance, violence, and racism in the U.S. Like Gregory Peck, Redford always aligned himself with good causes and never tired of warning about the danger represented by Trump: "We are facing a crisis that I never thought I would see in my lifetime: a dictatorial attack by President Donald Trump on everything this country represents." Redford stated that Trump's first presidency resembled "living in an abusive home."

The actor has died at the age of 89 while sleeping. He leaves behind a handful of iconic films: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, Barefoot in the Park, The Adventures of Jeremiah Johnson. Rest in peace. #TRUMP
