On-site staff and contractors failed to follow standard procedures to drain the cooling tower before the onset of cold weather, ultimately leading to an overload of the cooling system and rising temperatures. CyrusOne, jointly owned by KKR & Co. and Global Infrastructure Partners, has raised concerns about the reliability of financial market infrastructure following the incident.
