According to Bloomberg, Tether, issuer of the world's largest stablecoin USDT, led a $14 million Series A funding round in Argentine digital wallet Belo, with Titan Fund, The Venture City, Mindset Ventures and G2 also participating. Belo, which recently expanded into Brazil, plans to enter seven additional countries this year and will use the proceeds to integrate payments, savings and crypto into a single app while growing headcount by 20%. Stablecoin transaction volumes soared 72% to $33 trillion in 2025, according to Artemis.
