🔹 On December 14, 2025, there was a terrorist mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, during a Hanukkah festival (a Jewish holiday event).
🔹 The attack was carried out by two gunmen (a father and son) who opened fire on civilians. Police and officials have said this was a terrorist attack, likely inspired by extremist ideology.
🔹 One of the attackers was identified as Sajid Akram, who reportedly held an Indian passport and was originally from Hyderabad before he migrated to Australia many years ago.
🔹 His son, Naveed Akram, is an Australian citizen. Australian police and investigations are still working on confirming details around their motives and background.
🔹 The man in the image — Ahmed al-Ahmed — is NOT one of the attackers. He is a heroic bystander who tackled and disarmed one of the shooters, saving many people’s lives, and was seriously injured in the process.
🔹 The Australian Prime Minister publicly thanked Ahmed and called him a hero for his brave actions.
