💳 Visa proposed (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-12-16/visa-offers-stablecoin-settlement-for-us-banks-using-circle-s-usdc) to American banks to conduct settlements in USDC via the Solana blockchain.

This is the first full-scale launch of stablecoin settlements in the US banking system. Among the first participants are Cross River Bank and Lead Bank.

According to Bloomberg estimates, by 2030, over $50t of payments per year could be processed through stablecoins.
