Kite aligns incentives around measurable contribution and verifiable output, rather than mere participation. This encourages systems that behave predictably and discourages those that consume resources without clear utility.

Kite does not claim to solve every problem associated with autonomous coordination. Feedback loops, incentive misalignment, and emergent behavior remain real challenges. What it offers instead is containment. Failures surface earlier and in smaller forms, where they can be understood rather than amplified.
As machines begin to transact on our behalf, the most important question may not be how intelligent they are, but how gracefully they stop. Kite suggests that the future of autonomy may depend less on giving systems more freedom, and more on knowing exactly when to take it away.
