⚠️ P2P Scam Alert: My $USDT

New users, please be vigilant! I recently fell victim to a P2P scam and want to share my story to prevent others from making the same mistake.
The Incident:
I sold USDT on P2P. After exchanging screenshots with the merchant, I saw an incoming amount in my EasyPaisa app and released the order. Two hours later, the funds vanished—the scammer reversed the transaction immediately after I confirmed the release.
Key Safety Lessons:
◽Verify Identity: Always ask for the counterparty's ID photo.
◽Match Names: Ensure the payment is sent only from an account matching the merchant's name on the platform. Report if they use a third-party account.
◽Stay On-Platform: Keep all communication within the Binance app. Binance cannot assist with off-platform discussions.
◽Confirm Funds are Cleared: Wait at least a couple of hours for the payment to fully clear and be irreversible before releasing your crypto. A robust check is to send a small amount to another account to ensure the balance is real and stable.
