BREAKING: Samourai Wallet Developer Reports to Prison TODAY

The man who built Bitcoin's most powerful privacy tool just walked into federal prison.

Keonne Rodriguez: Co-founder of Samourai Wallet, surrendered today to begin serving 5 YEARS behind bars.

His crime? Writing code.

Here's what happened:

→ Built Samourai Wallet in 2015, A privacy tool for Bitcoin transactions

→ DOJ claims it helped launder $237M in "criminal proceeds"

→ Arrested April 2024 in FBI raid with 50 agents and armored vehicles

→ Sentenced to MAXIMUM 5 years on November 6, 2025

→ Reported to Morgantown Federal Prison today

The twist?

Trump said 4 days ago he'll "look at" pardoning Rodriguez.

He directed AG Pam Bondi to review the case.

But the pardon didn't come in time.

Why the crypto community is furious:

Samourai never held user funds (non-custodial)

FinCEN told prosecutors it didn't clearly fit "money transmitter" definition

They prosecuted anyway

Same DOJ that Trump called "weaponized"

Rodriguez's final message before prison:

"I maintain hope that Trump is a fair man who will see this prosecution for what it was: an anti-innovation, anti-American attack on the rights and liberties of free people."

Ross Ulbricht: PARDONED ✅

CZ (Binance): PARDONED ✅

Keonne Rodriguez: Still waiting...

Will Trump #PardonSamourai? The Bitcoin privacy fight isn't over.
