Why Most Beginners Lose Money in Futures ⚠️
When I first looked at crypto futures, it felt exciting.
Small money, big positions, fast profits 🚀
That’s what attracts most beginners.
But this is also exactly why most of them lose money.
The first mistake is high leverage.
Beginners think more leverage means more profit. In reality, it just means less room to be wrong. Even a small market move can wipe out the whole position 📉. The market doesn’t need to crash — it just needs to move a little against you.#
The second problem is no clear plan.
Many people enter a trade without knowing:
Where to exit if wrong ❌
Where to take profit 🎯
How much they are ready to lose
They open trades based on emotion, not logic.
Another big reason is revenge trading 😤.
After one loss, beginners try to recover quickly. They increase position size, ignore risk, and open random trades. This usually turns one small loss into a big one.
Finally, copying others blindly hurts a lot of new traders.
Someone else’s trade may work for them, but your timing, capital, and psychology are different.
Futures is not bad.
But it is not beginner-friendly.
If you’re new, start small, use very low leverage (or none), and focus on learning 📚 — not fast money.
Surviving the market is more important than winning one trade.
