Since the major crash on October 10, almost all altcoins have dropped back near their lows from that day — or at best, have retraced more than 50% of the distance toward those lows. During this period, there have been many smaller mini-crashes as well. Each time that happened, altcoins lost another 5–10% because their recoveries were nothing compared to the overwhelming downward pressure.

And yet, $UNI has remained almost unchanged, trading close to its weekly closing price from October 10. Even BTC and ETH have fallen to levels below their 10/10 lows, but UNI’s price has stayed firm and has shown strong rebounds after each liquidation-driven crash that wiped out long positions.

This is also why UNI is holding a large number of LONG positions that whales have been carrying with profit for a long time, even while being affected by the corrections in its base asset, ETH.
