The U.S. Supreme Court is deciding whether President Trump’s global tariffs (≈ 200 bn) were legal. Arguments ended 5 Nov; verdict expected early 2026.
What if they’re canceled? Importers get refunds → short-term USD liquidity boost. Relief for China, India, Brazil exporters → possible rally in EM indices & shipping plays. BUT the White House can re-impose narrower duties under other laws, so the “tariff era” isn’t automatically over.
**💡 Trading thought:** “Sell the rumor of rollback, buy the fact of replacement.” Volatility > clarity. Hedge with cash or stable-coin pairs until the ruling drops.
