The AI narrative in crypto has become impossible to ignore, but I think most people are asking the wrong question.
It's not whether AI can trade better or automate DeFi. It probably can.
The real challenge is trust.
Crypto was built to remove the need for blind trust, yet many AI projects ask users to hand decision-making over to a black box. That feels like a step backward.
What caught my attention about @NewtonProtocol is that it approaches AI from a different angle. Instead of focusing only on automation, it asks how users can verify what an AI is doing without giving up control of their assets.
That distinction matters more than another flashy AI demo.
The market doesn't need more autonomous agents making promises. It needs infrastructure that makes automation transparent, auditable, and accountable.
Whether $NEWT becomes that infrastructure is still an open question. Adoption will have to come from real utility, not narrative momentum.
In the end, the future of AI in crypto may not belong to the smartest model. It may belong to the one users are actually willing to trust.
