Altcoins vs USD — The Rotation Phase Is Approaching
This chart highlights a pattern that has repeated across multiple cycles. After each Bitcoin halving, altcoins remain quiet for a period, then roughly 180 days later, capital begins rotating out of BTC and into altcoins. This behavior led to explosive moves in 2017 and 2021, and the current structure is forming the same way again.
From a profit perspective, the early phase of rotation is where risk-to-reward is highest. Large caps usually move first, followed by mid-caps and high-beta altcoins. By the time altseason becomes obvious on social media, most of the upside is already priced in.
Positioning early matters more than timing the top.
