So that is what we think about the future of Blockchain and Layer 1.
In the year 2025 Layer 1 blockchains started doing lots of things. Solana and BNB Chain and Hyperliquid were really popular for people who like to make guesses about what will happen with their money. On the hand Ethereum became the main network that people used for their everyday transactions. More and more people were using Layer 1 blockchains like Ethereum for these transactions and then they were moving to Layer 2s to do even more things. Layer 1 blockchains, like Ethereum were getting a lot of use.
Stablecoins have really taken off. This has led to the creation of stablechains. These stablechains are, like networks that are made just for stablecoin transactions and payments. Some other blockchains are focused on keeping things private or making things go fast or they are made for specific uses. This shows that it is an idea for blockchains to specialize in stablecoins and other things.
In 2026 I think we will see a lot of things happening in the Layer 1 sector. People who use Layer 1 and the people who make things for Layer 1 will really need to be able to move things, between different chains. Layer 1 needs to work with other chains so that everything runs smoothly.
