The CEO of #GoldManSachs David Solomon revealed for the first time that he owns #bitcoin . The executive director of the second largest investment bank in the world made these statements on
the first day of the 2026 World Freedom Forum in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
Over the past few years, Solomon has defended the technology #blockchain , but regarding the #Criptomonedas he wasn't very convinced. In statements to
CNBC in 2024 about cryptocurrencies, he stated, “I have always said it is a speculative investment.”
Even in January 2025, Solomon remained firm in his position on cryptocurrencies, reiterating that Goldman Sachs cannot own, manage, or be involved with Bitcoin and other
crypto assets.
However, something changed, and at the recent forum organized by World Liberty Financial, Solomon mentioned that despite not being a great forecaster of Bitcoin, he revealed, “I have very few Bitcoins, very few.”
