Today, when I opened the meme board, I saw something strange: none of the top ten gainers exceeded 2%, and there weren't even three that showed a decline. Community engagement is MIA, the whales are on vacation, and the money has gone to ZEC and JTO, racking up 7% and 25%. In this kind of market, chasing any meme is just picking up second-hand trades. The logic isn't complicated: meme price movements depend on who’s willing to step in. Today, all the buyers ran off to mess with ZEC, leaving the meme board to reflect on itself. Liquidity is the lifeblood of memes; no matter how good the story is, if no one’s buying, it’s just a worthless check.
The only problem with the meme board today is: nobody's in line to buy.
