When I first entered the crypto circle seven years ago, I only had about thirty thousand RMB. To put it plainly, I came here to bet on fate. Back then, I didn’t think too much—my eyes were on just one sentence: go hard for it. Whether you can turn it around or not depends on this one bet.
But now that I’ve reached eight figures, I’ve actually become more and more “wary.”
It’s not that I’m afraid—it’s that I’ve seen too much.
The most real thing about this market is: there are many people who make quick money, but very few who stay.
After slowly summing it up, there really isn’t anything too profound. It’s just three things—yet many people still can’t do them.
First, keep your position size light. Don’t get carried away.
Nowadays, I basically never enter with a heavy position. I do small-lot tests and then build in batches.
Because once you’ve been in it long enough, you’ll realize that whether a single trade is profitable isn’t the important part. The important part is—can you survive to the next one.
The cruelest thing in crypto isn’t losing money. It’s getting knocked out of the game in a single round.
So what I care about most isn’t profit—it’s whether the risk has been calculated clearly first.
My stop-loss is never dragged out. Once it’s set, I execute. When it’s hit, I leave. I don’t bargain with the market.
Many people don’t fail because they’re wrong on direction—they die in “wait a little longer and see.”
Second, only make money by following the trend.
I don’t try to bottom-fish, and I don’t guess bottoms.
To put it plainly: “cheap” doesn’t mean safe. In fact, many of the positions that look “cheap” are the most dangerous traps.
As long as the trend hasn’t changed, the market will only become more and more extreme.
I do just one thing: wait for the trend to form, then go in after the pullback and confirmation.
Not exciting—but very steady.
Third, the simpler the system, the better.
What I look at now is very limited: moving average structure + RSI.
That’s enough.
Too much market information only makes it easier to confuse people.
If the structure is there, then you do the trade. If the structure breaks, you leave.
Adding to positions is only for profitable trades. I never add to losing ones.
Because adding positions in essence isn’t optimizing—it’s amplifying the mistake.
In the end, there’s no holy grail in crypto, and no method that guarantees you’ll win.
Whether you can survive has never depended on how much you make in any one wave. It depends on whether the market wipes you out in one shot.
Finally, just one sentence:
Follow the trend, control risk, and wait for opportunities.
When the setup comes, trade it. When the market’s not right, rest.
