U.S. Vice President Vance reiterated that Iran's deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is 8 PM EST on Tuesday. Two U.S. officials said U.S. forces struck military targets on Kharg Island early Tuesday ahead of that deadline. One official said the operation hit more than 50 targets. Officials said the strikes did not include oil infrastructure.
