Bitmine Immersion Technologies bought 101,627 ETH last week, marking its biggest weekly Ethereum purchase of 2026. The purchase lifted Bitmine's total ETH holdings to 4.976 million tokens and its combined crypto and cash position to $12.9 billion. Chairman Tom Lee said the crypto winter may be closer to ending because past bear markets since 2015 usually coincided with equity drawdowns of at least 20%, while the 2026 S&P 500 pullback was about 8%. CryptoQuant data also showed Ethereum exchange reserves fell to about 14.6 million ETH, and spot Ethereum ETFs drew $275.83 million for the week ending April 17.
