The Zcash Foundation has added five new DNS seed nodes in the US and Europe after the Electric Coin Company ceased its node operations. This expansion increases Zcash Foundation's total DNS seed nodes to six, aiming to improve node discovery and wallet startup performance. Further node deployments are planned by the Foundation and Shielded Labs to enhance network reliability.
