Figure Technology Solutions Inc. has introduced OPEN, an on-chain public equity network on its Provenance blockchain that facilitates issuance of tokenized shares backed by real equity. The platform allows investors to lend and borrow shares directly without relying on traditional intermediaries. Figure will be the inaugural issuer, listing its own equity tokens on this decentralized platform.
