but one thing i learned is when to cut losses

when to buy and when to sell

i barely lost anything in this downturn because i moved most of my bags into stables when things started looking overheated earlier this year

that was the time to sell

now people are panic selling because they see red candles and doom posts on X

but time to look for opportunities

not saying this is the bottom

it can go lower

maybe much lower

but buying doesn't mean catching every red candle

it means waiting for the market to stop bleeding

consolidate

and show some strength

most people don't want to hear that though

they want someone to tell them "we're going to the moon"

or "it's over"

depending on the mood of the day

the day you stop depending on these accounts for your decisions

is the day you start becoming profitable

until then you'll keep chasing whatever narrative is trending

today it's this coin

tomorrow it'll be something else

and years from now your biggest loss will probably be whatever everyone told you was a guaranteed winner
