Crypto trading is buying and selling of cryptocurrencies in order to make a profit.
We have different ways you can trade crypto. But the two most popular are spot trading and futures trading.
As a newbie to crypto. You are to start with Spot trading. You can buy crypto assets when they are low and sell them when they are high.
The first thing you need is to have a wallet that can receive and send different types of cryptocurrencies, eg, trustwallet, metamask, imtoken,etc. (All available on app store).
A wallet is like your crypto bank account where you'd leep your money. While registering this wallet you'd be shown a backup phrase , please save it in a secure place and make sure it is not online. In case you misplace your device or lose the data on your device, that phrase will help you get back your wallet.
After creating a wallet, the next thing is to find a reputable exchange where you can buy and sell cryptocurrencies.
You have exchanges like binance, kucoin, bybit, etc.
An exchange is like a bank while wallet is the bank account. An exchange is where trades happen and we have two types.
1. The centralised exchanges
2. The decentralised exchanges
