He posted on social media X, where he called the Ethereum network a censorship-resistant system where anyone can deploy their application or transfer funds without asking for approval from Buterin, the Ethereum Foundation, or the developers supporting the protocol. Disagreement on issues of politics, culture, or artificial intelligence will not lead to the expulsion of anyone from the network, assured the crypto businessman.

The programmer mentioned that he receives a lot of criticism for his statements about projects created based on Ethereum. He stated that he has every right to speak out against projects with concepts he disagrees with and which, in his opinion, do not meet certain standards. Similarly, other people may not agree with his ideas. As Buterin put it, protocols should be neutral, but people are not infrastructure, and they may have their own opinions.

"You do not need to support my views on decentralized finance (DeFi) and decentralized social payments. You do not have to agree with my opinion that Berlin has the best food in Europe, and that suits and ties should be eradicated from our culture," Buterin wrote.

The co-founder of Ethereum cited the Linux operating system, which is used by many corporations around the world. The crypto businessman explained that Linux is a neutral technology that can be used both to expand people's rights and freedoms and to create 'corporate junk' (corposlop). In his opinion, it is not enough to simply create a Linux kernel; it is necessary to build an ecosystem around it based on the values of freedom. The same applies to Ethereum: it is not enough to create a blockchain; it is necessary to develop an infrastructure that aligns with the ideals of independence, Buterin stated.

Recently, a developer-entrepreneur proposed to make Ethereum a network for payment operations that would be conducted using artificial intelligence. Buterin also suggested using AI in the prediction market, as the neural network is capable of analyzing large volumes of data.
