In the cryptocurrency space, security is not optional — it is a matter of survival. One feature on Binance that I strongly recommend everyone enable immediately is the Anti-Phishing Code.
You can enable it in your Security settings after logging in through the official website:
So what does the Anti-Phishing Code actually do?
It allows you to create a unique personal code that will appear in every official email sent by Binance. If you receive an email that looks like it's from Binance but does NOT contain your custom code — then it may be a phishing attempt.
This is why I use it:
🔐 Add an extra layer of verification outside of password & 2FA
📩 Help detect phishing emails instantly
🛡 Protect against social engineering attacks
📱 Works alongside Google Authenticator & device management
I learned about this feature through @Binance Vietnam, where they frequently educate users about account security. In 2026, phishing attacks are becoming more sophisticated — so basic protection is not enough.
My personal security checklist on Binance:
• Enable 2FA (Authenticator, not just SMS)
• Activate Anti-Phishing Code
• Set up a withdrawal whitelist
• Never click on unclear links
