OPEN Why has it been consolidating lately? Because the market is still waiting for 'direction confirmation'.
Recently, many have been asking:
Why does it feel like the price is stuck, even though $OPEN has clearly rebounded from the lows?
I took another look at the price action these past two days and realized we’re in a classic 'recovery structure' right now.
Simply put:
It’s not dropping anymore,
But it’s not strong enough to kick off a major rally directly.
Just look at the price action over the past two weeks; it’s actually pretty clear.
The first phase is the initial surge followed by a pullback.
OPEN It once spiked near 0.235, but quickly started to retrace.
The second phase is clearly a downward test.
It even dipped to around 0.156 at its lowest; the sentiment during this period was quite poor, and a lot of short-term liquidity has basically been washed out.
But the key lies in the third phase.
That is, this recent rebound.
From 0.158, it has pulled back to around 0.225, indicating that market liquidity is actually starting to flow back in.
The only problem is:
After the rebound, it hasn't continued to form a trend.
In the past few days, you would notice that the price has been oscillating around the 0.20~0.22 range.
What does this mean?
This shows there is a significant divergence in the market right now.
Some people think it has dropped enough here and are starting to position early.
Some people think this is just a dead cat bounce and not a real reversal yet.
So you will see:
Every time it gets close to around 0.225, clear selling pressure starts to appear.
And today returning to around 0.206 actually follows this logic.
Currently, I think the two most critical positions in the market are quite clear:
One is 0.225.
This is the recent core resistance level.
If it can truly stabilize later, the trend will look more like it's starting a new upward attack.
The other one is 0.198.
If this level breaks down, the short-term bullish structure will clearly weaken, and it might even test lower support again.
So right now, the OPEN feels more like:
"A corrective move during a consolidation phase."
It's not a complete bull turn,
But it's not the weakest time anymore.
Moreover, the overall sentiment in the AI sector has been gradually warming up lately.
Especially with AI Agents, on-chain automation, and AI execution layers, funds are starting to pay attention again.
Projects like @OpenLedger that are doing both AI + on-chain execution will likely be brought up again by the market.
Because true AI implementation will ultimately be more than just chatting.
But it's about execution.
