Zcash fell 33% over the past day to around $350 after Shielded Labs disclosed a critical four-year-old vulnerability. Shielded Labs said there is no definitive cryptographic way to determine whether the bug was exploited. Nic Carter said the tradeoff between privacy and auditability is part of the deal for privacy coins.
