The US House Ways and Means Committee circulated seven discussion drafts on digital asset taxation ahead of a Tuesday hearing. The drafts cover stablecoins, staking, mining, and transactions. Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis said committees were considering a $300 de minimis exemption for Bitcoin transactions.

Senator Elizabeth Warren pressed CFTC chairman Michael Selig, the sole sitting commissioner of the five-member agency, over bias and interference reports.
