During the dump I wanted to chase it, move my limits up and smash market orders. I didn’t — and that’s what kept me standing.
We’ve got slightly more capital now, still two positions in the red. With all the liquidity trapped above, I doubt they’ll let it sit without at least attempting a squeeze.

I’m not going to be naive either. These are my first steps doing it this way, and the temptation is still there. It’s a discipline you have to maintain every single day. So for now, I’m not getting ahead of myself — I don’t want to jinx it.
But I do encourage those who are in that position to at least try these two methods: stay in the game, even if it hurts to accept a big loss, and never risk more than 2–3% of your total capital.
Today I dare to say that if I can manage this behavior, the trade can go against me — I’m still a beginner learning the market — but it won’t liquidate me.
Applied to an asymmetric trade, this approach can lead to significant gains if you let it run and you’re positioned at the right moment — even risking just 2%.

→ Studiază, practică și pregătește-te înainte de a te lansa într-o tranzacție riscantă.
„Poate că vom trăi doar o dată, dar dacă trăiești bine, acea viață este mai mult decât suficientă.”
→ Concentrează-te pe calitate în loc de cantitate: o tranzacție bine gândită valorează mai mult decât o sută de tranzacții neglijente.
💡 Aceste idei mi-au fost în minte toată ziua — în tranzacționare, pregătirea și acțiunea conștientă sunt totul.

Astăzi am încercat să nu fac aceleași greșeli. Practic, nu am atins niciunul dintre ordinele mele limită, chiar dacă le-am avut toate setate și pregătite. Dar am reușit să rămân răbdător. Încă cred că avem nevoie de o scădere puțin mai mare înainte să mă simt confortabil să intru. Nu eram pregătit să tranzacționez acest rebound pe care l-am avut. A fost prea mic și nu am încredere deplină în el încă. Fiind atât de strict cu procentele atunci când analizez fiecare poziție, ar fi trebuit să folosesc un stop loss foarte strâns, și cu considerațiile legate de marjă, practic însemna să intru în tranzacții cu un risc/recompensă foarte mică. Nu merită cu adevărat.
Unele dintre aceste prețuri limită ar putea părea nerealiste, și probabil că sunt. S-ar putea să nu fie niciodată atinse. Dar așa văd eu astăzi. Mâine voi reevalua. #LimitOrders #February
