Today, we’re introducing UIP-11, a proposal to restructure USUAL’s tokenomics for long-term sustainability and prepare for v2.
This marks a turning point in how the protocol balances fundamentals, incentives, and growth.
Over the past year, USUAL has proven its model. The protocol generates more than $25M in annualized revenue and holds over $30M in treasury.
But the structure has become a brake on progress. Emissions grew faster than demand, and the system’s design limited how far we could go.
UIP-11 changes that.
It is the foundation for v2 - a protocol built around efficiency, composability, and sustainable yield.
At a high level, the proposal:
Cuts max supply by 25% (4B → 3B)
Halves future inflation, removing about 85% of farming-driven sell pressure
Ends USUAL rewards for USD0++ inside the USL and lowers the USL fee from 5% to 0%
Reduces LP emissions by 80%, maintaining depth through concentrated liquidity
Increases USUALx’s share of emissions from 10.8% to 15.1% and opens a one-time unlock window in December
Separates USD0++ strategies so that inside the USL it becomes zero-coupon while outside the USL continues earning rewards
Trades short-term revenue for long-term health and scalability
The community has been clear: strong fundamentals need to be matched by a structure that reflects them.
UIP-11 is that structure. It removes the constraints that have slowed momentum and creates room for v2 to launch on solid ground.
This is not only about ending emissions. It is about aligning the system for what comes next.

What is a Ravencoin block halving event?
Ravencoin, similarly to Bitcoin, is halving block rewards every 2,100,000 blocks. Because one block is generated approximately every 1 minute, the halving happens approximately every 4 years.
Ravencoin halvings will continue to happen every 2,100,000 blocks until the reward can no longer be halved.
Ravencoin's initial block reward was 5000 RVN, the current block reward is 2500 RVN and the new block reward will be 1250 RVN.
The previous Ravencoin halving date was on the 11th of January 2022 and this will be the 2nd halving of Ravencoin.
