On May 29th, OpenLedger officially upgraded OctoClaw to a self-executing agent, and that night I downloaded version 1.0.2 from the official website to give it a try!

In the past, AI could only chat and offer some advice, but now I can just throw out a command like, "Monitor the ETH pool for me, if the slippage is below 0.6%, automatically execute small arbitrage; if the risk is high, close the position immediately," and it actually runs the entire process in the background!

The on-chain workflow is completely transparent, with decision prompts, execution hashes, gas optimizations, and risk assessments all recorded in the PoA. When I checked in the morning, there was even a complete review report. The closed loop of 'from prediction to execution' detailed in the white paper has been fully realized with OctoClaw—it's no longer just a chatbot, but a 24/7, sleep-deprived, gas-fee-earning on-chain AI employee.

I now give it a small test wallet, letting it run simple automation every day while I just check the summary. This saves me time and allows me to contribute more data to Datanets. The homepage states, "Build, automate, and execute with AI agents in real time," backed by Polychain; the execution capability is no joke.

I used to think AI projects were too far from the average person, but now OctoClaw puts the tools right on your computer, allowing newbies to cash in on agents. OPEN is still at a low position, but I’ve already handed over part of my daily DeFi operations to it; it feels like I’ve hired a reliable assistant for myself.
