Today there's no airdrop over the weekend, but here are a few important news updates:
1. Everyone knows about SpaceX's IPO, but according to Bloomberg citing insiders, the underwriting banks participating in the IPO have been told not to accept subscription orders from mainland China and Hong Kong investors (including private banking clients), due to regulatory and compliance risks related to U.S. critical technology export controls. Additionally, SpaceX's official website and IPO roadshow documents are currently inaccessible from mainland China and Hong Kong.

Some of my buddies who previously opened bank and brokerage accounts in Hong Kong can't subscribe this time either, but once it's listed, you can buy through Binance's U.S. stock segment.

2. Gold, oil, and crypto have all taken a hit lately because the dollar rate hike is basically confirmed, with a 0.25% increase expected by the end of the year.

I've been keeping an eye on the Sui chain since last year; it’s early in its ecosystem, and interesting projects are popping up one after another. The problem is that every time I want to make a move, I have to first grab some SUI tokens for gas. Sounds like no big deal, right? But if you've actually done it, you know—my spot positions are all on other chains, so I have to bridge SUI over, and the price of SUI is fluctuating. Bridging takes time, and by the time I get the gas sorted, the moment I wanted to buy might have already passed. I once watched a meme coin pump 40% while I was just prepping for gas. @GeniusOfficial

Someone once told me, "The most expensive cost of on-chain trading isn't the fees; it's the opportunities you miss out on." I didn't quite get it at the time, but I increasingly find it to be true. I only started seriously using the @GeniusOfficial gas sponsorship feature later on. The logic is: I don't need to hold the native gas token on the target chain; Genius covers it upfront and deducts it from my trading assets. The first time I ran operations on Sui through Genius, I didn’t have to prep SUI for gas; I went straight in with my USDC balance.

At that moment, I thought I had set something up wrong and double-checked everything. Nope, that’s just how it runs. I know this feature had some throttling issues in its early days, and the team later addressed and fixed it publicly—using EIP-7702 to solve the cross-chain sponsorship bottleneck. I think that’s a decent way to handle things; having issues isn’t embarrassing, but not communicating them is.
