Last night I was checking out the roadmap for Bedrock 2.0, and most of the stuff has been talked about in the community, but I couldn’t take my eyes off the mid-to-late section — it said the sorter is going decentralized, and BR holders will be able to run nodes.

You don’t need to worry about what a sorter is; just understand that the Bedrock Chain is currently managed by the project team, but they're planning to hand over the keys to the community, to us holders. My mind was blown when I read that.

Why am I excited? Because right now, holding BR is mainly about voting and getting some rewards, nothing more. But if the sorter nodes really start using BR as a ticket or collateral, then this coin isn’t just a spectator's ticket anymore; it's stepping onto the field as a player. Just think about it, every transaction on-chain goes through the sorter, and even if they only share a tiny piece of the profits with nodes, over time, that adds up big time.

I’ve seen a classic L2 take a similar route, and you can check how their token turned out later; history doesn’t lie. So after reading that, I set a calendar reminder without hesitation — I need to keep a close eye on this. I suggest you don’t just hold onto your BR for voting; go check out those lines about the sorter in the roadmap, get a heads-up, and don’t wait until the details drop to start kicking yourself.
