I've been mulling over the S1 mechanism of @GeniusOfficial these past couple of days. At first, all I could think about was how to snag those tokens as quickly as possible, but then I realized I was totally off track.

What’s really worth digging into here is why they’re so tightly binding the actions of 'early release' and 'high ratio burn'.

A lot of Web3 projects face airdrops where tokens flood the market, causing supply to explode, but the buying pressure just can’t keep up. In the end, we’re left watching the project team scramble to buy back and stabilize things. But Genius's approach is a whole different ball game.

Want to cash out early? No problem, but you’ve got to bear a hefty burn cost. I did some hardcore calculations on the specific numbers privately and found the difference in rights between bailing early and waiting for the full release is astonishing.

This means the protocol isn’t just playing with the timing of releases; it’s actively cutting down the future total circulation in a serious way.

Once I grasped this logic, I realized the burn mechanism isn’t about punishment; it’s about forcibly creating a massive buffer on the supply side. The 'paper hands' in desperate need of cash take their money and, in the process, help the protocol achieve deflationary burns; those willing to wait retain their full rights without worrying about a massive token dump.

This design, where both paths lead to the same outcome, really blew my mind. While everyone else is busy discussing the number of claimants, the protocol has already perfectly balanced the release rhythm, circulation structure, and the interests of long-term holders at the foundational level.

So now, looking at GENIUS again, I’m not concerned about how many people are cashing out early in the short term. What matters more to me is whether this mechanism, which tightly binds liquidity demand with supply management, can run smoothly in the long term. If it does, it will definitely become the strongest foundation for the entire ecosystem to support a hundredfold value in the future.
