The project is pushing a clear idea: let developers deploy AI models, let users pay for inference, and let the network turn that activity into real value.
That is a strong vision.
But I’m still watching the harder part.
Model count is not the real proof.
Inference revenue is.
If developers are not earning, if customers are not paying, and if usage is not strong enough to cover costs, then the story becomes more hype than business.
The hidden risk is simple: unlocks, dilution, rewards, and market pressure can eat a good narrative alive.
I’m not against OpenGradient.
I just want to see real demand, real revenue, and real developer earnings before I fully trust the story.
