🧘♂️ I LOST MY FIRST $1,000 CLEAN — And here's why I'm still sitting here after 3 years
In May 2023, I deposited $1,000 into Binance.
Why? The media said BTC would hit $200K.
KOLs claimed SOL, XRP, DOGE would x20 x50.
I believed it. I bought everything.
💸 Then I FOMO'd in — lost it all.
Switched to Futures for "faster gains."
Results were still rough.
There were nights at 2–3 AM staring at the candlestick charts unable to sleep — not out of excitement. But out of worry.

I brought that same mindset into investing.
And the market taught me a very expensive lesson.

US inflation hits a 3-year high: the Fed has almost no room left to cut interest rates
The PCE index, the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge, rose 4.1% in May, the highest in three years and far above the 2% target.
Meanwhile, the economy is still very strong
• Q1 GDP increased 2.1%, beating the 1.6% forecast
• Initial jobless claims were 215,000, lower than expected
• Consumer spending rose 0.7%
In short, strong growth, consumers are still spending, the labor market remains solid, and inflation is starting to climb again.
That leaves the Fed with almost no reason to cut interest rates in the period ahead. Even the view supporting higher rates by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh could gain additional backing ahead of the upcoming FOMC meeting

officially wiped my account and owe nearly 1 billion. now I don't know what to do. last month I managed to recover 32k, but just from last week until now, I've lost it all again. sleepless nights borrowing money from everyone to try and recover. but the more I try to recover, the more I lose. I'm completely lost now. I was just getting by with a bit of online trading and then got caught up in this. last year, I shorted ETH at 99k, and it shot up to 124k, wiping me out.
