I've been quietly printing profits shorting meme coins. Here's the dead simple strategy I use. 🧵
No indicators. No bots. No 18-hour screen time. Just logic.
The Core Thesis:
Meme coins have zero intrinsic value and zero real utility. Their price pumps are driven purely by hype which means gravity always wins eventually. Every spike is a short opportunity waiting to happen.
The Exact Process (Copy This):
✅ Open the Futures "Dashboard"
✅ Go to the Meme Coin section → Sort by "Top Gainers"
✅ Pick the Top 5 coins that have pumped the most
✅ Open their charts and look for 3 or more large green candles in a row
✅ If you see that pattern → Enter a Short position
✅ Set your margin so that even if the coin pumps 5x more from your entry, you are NOT liquidated
✅ Wait up to 48 hours
Most of the time, the position turns green well within that window.
Then Close, Rinse, Repeat.
Why This Works:
Meme coins are driven by FOMO. Once the top 5 gainers list is already populated, the early buyers are sitting on profit and they are itching to exit. You're simply positioning yourself on the right side of that exit.
The 5x margin buffer is non-negotiable. It keeps you alive through the noise before the inevitable dump.
What I Don't Do:
❌ I do not chase fundamentals because meme coins do not works on fundamentls (there are none)
❌ I do not use leverage that could get me rekt on a wick
❌ I do not hold longer than needed i.e 48 hours is usually enough
