🇷🇺🇰🇿 President Vladimir Putin highlighted the growing strength of Russia–Kazakhstan relations during expanded-format talks in Astana on May 28, 2026.

Putin stated that bilateral ties are developing “dynamically” on the principles of equality and mutual respect, with cooperation expanding across trade, investment, education, culture, and international affairs.

📈 Russia remains one of Kazakhstan’s key trade partners, with trade turnover continuing to grow in 2025. Around 70 joint investment projects are currently underway, while nearly 60,000 Kazakh students are studying at Russian universities.

🤝 Putin also praised cooperation within the #EAEU, #CSTO, #CIS, #SCO, #BRICS and the #UN, calling Russia–Kazakhstan coordination an example of constructive partnership.
