Recovering more than 5.300 trillion VND – a “miracle” in financial investigation
A standout feature of the case is the result of tracing and recovering exceptionally large assets. According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, the total assets seized and frozen amount to over 5.315 trillion VND.
This asset includes cash, gold, real estate both domestically and internationally, along with many other valuable assets such as dozens of luxury cars, real estate in Dubai, Turkey, Australia, Cambodia, and 1.2 million Singaporean USD deposited in foreign banks.
In addition, the authorities confiscated 246 kg of raw gold along with hundreds of SJC gold pieces.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung assessed:
“The result of asset recovery in this case can be considered a miracle.”
