How many times have we been sold the idea that a university degree was the only surefire way to get ahead?
I'm speaking to you with total honesty and from my own experience: I have two master's degrees and several additional certifications on my resume. I burned the midnight oil studying, invested a ton of cash, and stacked up credentials thinking the job market would reward my hustle.
But I hit the harsh reality. My master's degrees weren't from elite universities, and in the real corporate world, if you don’t have the right connections or the so-called 'leverage', your degrees end up collecting dust in a drawer. You send out dozens of resumes, spend months hunting for an opportunity, and the responses never come. It's incredibly frustrating to see that you gave it your all and the system just turns its back on you.
