Hi! So my story of getting to know Binance started in a classic way. To learn trading, I needed a deposit in USD for forex. Since the broker didn’t accept a deposit in hryvnias directly, but did accept USDT (including via Binance), I agreed to the proposal. After that, it was just the usual technical routine: registering an account on Binance, going to the corresponding section to find sellers in the USDT–UAH pair, filtering by price, choosing the most reasonable seller, making the transfer/deposit, and transferring the USDT to the broker’s deposit. The tokens went through and the account remained.

Why that one?

When I first jumped into crypto and registered on Binance, my head was spinning from the hundreds of candlesticks, numbers, and names. But before I bought my very first asset, I decided to hit the books and learn the market logic.

My choice fell on $BNB and here's why:

1. Fuel for the entire ecosystem. I quickly realized that BNB isn't just an "exchange coin," but a full-fledged foundation for the massive BNB Chain network.

2. Fee discounts. As a newbie, I wanted to trade as efficiently as possible, and paying fees in BNB gave me some sweet savings right off the bat.

🔥 "The best buys always look terrible in the moment"

I was haunted by a nostalgic story and decided to write it down 🙄

…one of my most significant early buys was BNB. This was back in early September 2023.

At that time, there was panic: all over the place, people were shouting that BNB was crashing and the price would hit 130-100 😏. I, however, gritted my teeth and bought in at 190-205 🫣

Emotions were through the roof…

The market always overreacts in both directions. At the highs, everyone shouts "to the moon," and at the lows — "it’s all over." If you make decisions based on the crowd's emotions, you usually end up buying high and selling low.

With BNB, I bet not on the noise but on the business, the product, and the real value of the token within the ecosystem.
