A weekly close above the 200 WMA will indicate whether Bitcoin stays in this range, or if price discovery is likely to find a new range - lower. Did Trend Precognition just say, “Go Away” to May? The outlook for June is clearly bearish, but remember, this new Trend Precognition signal technically doesn't validate until this candle closes. As long as $BTC price stays below $82.8k, I expect it to validate. We still need to watch levels to determine if this is going to develop into a base building consolidation, or the next leg down. The fact that price just fell through another Timescape level is another sign of weakness. The real test comes at the Q2 2026 Timescapes in the $68k - $69k range. Losing that level has macro implications that would send Bitcoin to a structural test around the local bottom, the trend line, and the 200-DMA which are clustered in the $59.9k - $65k range. Are you prepared for this? We have a synchronized D, W, M close on Sunday. Expect volatility to build through the Close, but there's some nuance to it... There’s a lot of daylight between here and a green Monthly close at $76,310. Watch to see if yesterday's bounce off the 100-DMA is durable. If $BTC bulls are going to make a stand at a macro level, it would make sense to build a base above the 100 DMA. That supports the idea of a liquidation hunt to the $76k range to challenge for a green M close - that’s going to be a tough challenge considering order flow is running down the drain, a Death Cross is forming between the 21/50 DMAs (likely Sunday or Monday), and we have a potential Head & Shoulders pattern in play that could lead to a support test at the Q2 2026 Timescape Levels in the $68k - $69k range. After a long holiday weekend, $BTC bulls are picking up right where they left off on Friday - fighting for support at the 50 DMA. Meanwhile the 21 DMA is closing in on the Timescape R/S Flip line, strengthening technical resistance in the $78,380 - $78,759 range. Here's what I'm watching for tonight's $BTC Daily and Weekly closes: 💠Can Bitcoin bulls reclaim the 50 DMA? 💠Can support hold at the 21 WMA? 💠Are there new D or W Trend Precognition signals? 💠Does Weekly RSI extend down or revert up? The 50 DMA and the 21 WMA are the most critical near range levels to watch to get a sense of what's next. If bulls can reclaim the 50 DMA at $76.7k then they must battle for the Timescape R/S Flip line at $78,380 before anything meaningfully bullish happens. If bulls lose support at the 21 WMA then the 100 DMA ($72.7k) and the Q2 2026 Timescape R/S Flip line ($69k) are the last line of defense before a deeper correction. With the exception of a measly $4M of ask liquidity at $78k, the $BTC order book on @Binance is razor thin up to $81M, but so far price can’t hold above the 50 DMA. To the downside there’s $9.8M in bids at $75.5k, $11.8M at $73k and not much else in between - Except the 21 WMA. In other words, order book liquidity isn’t preventing anything from happening because books are thin AF and there are no significant walls in range. Don't make decisions on headlines. There's a tremendous amount of pressure in this zone. After multiple rejections from the 200-Day SMA, $BTC  dropped through the 21-Day SMA and lost the Timescape R/S Flip line at the $78,380 before finding support above the 50-Day SMA. There are CME gaps, upside liquidity, and a series of higher highs and higher lows that support the idea of a near term rally, but so far the R/S Flip line has acted like a brick wall - supporting the bear case.
