Been looking at how x402 micropayments are being implemented, and the difference between platforms is pretty interesting.
While some solutions focus mainly on enabling pay-per-request APIs, GOAT Network is approaching it as a full agent economy infrastructure.
Instead of relying on a hosted facilitator to verify and settle transactions, GOAT uses Ziren zkVM, where cryptographic proofs replace operator attestations. This means transactions can be verified independently rather than trusting a central operator.
