Lately I’ve been thinking about something that almost nobody talks about properly in AI discussions.
Everyone focuses on models.
Bigger models.
Smarter reasoning.
Faster outputs.
Better benchmarks.
But what if the most important part of AI was never the model itself?
What if the real foundation has always been the people behind the data?
Every AI system today is learning from human contribution in one form or another — conversations, writing, code, research, corrections, opinions, creativity, even mistakes. Millions of invisible contributions shape the intelligence these systems produce.
Yet when value comes out of AI, most of the rewards stay concentrated around the companies owning the models.
And honestly… that imbalance feels impossible to ignore once you start noticing it.
