It just happened to my DOGE/USDT bot, and I figured I'd share what I learned instead of panicking! 😅
Here's the situation:
· Pair: DOGE/USDT
· My Range: 0.15700 - 0.15900
· Current Price: 0.14511 (👇 below my range)
· Result: Bot is paused.
The bot is basically waiting for the price to re-enter my set range before it starts trading again.
So, what are my options? I see three main paths:
1. 🛑 WAIT & HOPE: Do nothing. If DOGE pumps back above 0.15700, the bot auto-restarts. Simple, but requires patience.
2. ⚙️ ADAPT & EDIT: Click "Edit" and widen my lower price range (e.g., down to 0.14000). This gives the bot more room to operate and potentially trade its way out of the paper loss.
3. 💸 STOP & WITHDRAW: Click "Withdraw Profit" to stop the bot, sell the held DOGE at a realized loss, and free up the capital for something else.
For now, I'm leaning towards Option 1 or 2 since I'm still bullish on DOGE long-term. This is a great reminder that grids work best in sideways or ranging markets! 📈📉
