This was Kevin Warsh’s first meeting as Fed Chair, and rates stayed unchanged. But the projections came in hawkish:

- 9 out of 18 officials think we could see a rate hike in 2026
- GDP forecast dropped from 2.4% to 2.2%
- Inflation is still called “elevated”
- PCE might not hit 2% until 2028
