🐦 The man who almost killed PumpFun 🔵 Jarrett Dunn is a former PumpFun employee from Canada. He was homeless in the past, but later got involved in the crypto industry. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 20. 🔵 In May 2024, PumpFun reported an exploit. Approximately $80 million was withdrawn from the platform. The market feared that this could cause Solana to collapse. 🔵 A few hours later, Jarrett Dunn himself came forward and confessed. He used access to private keys and multi-party debts, stating that he wanted to destroy PumpFun for "harming the community." 🔵 Instead of running away, he started distributing funds to random Solana wallets. The money went to meme communities and small traders. People started calling him the "crypto Robin Hood." 🔵 He did not hide, was completely calm, and openly stated that he was prepared to go to prison. Canadian police detained him that same day.
