In Cambodia, Chen Zhi, the head of Prince Group and a key figure of one of the largest fraudulent networks in Asia, was arrested and extradited to China.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, he was behind crypto and investment scams, including pig butchering schemes, and the proceeds from them were laundered through dozens of companies around the world.
The American authorities previously announced the confiscation of bitcoins worth almost $12 billion. At the same time, the media write that Chen's total income from crypto scams and related businesses for 5-10 years could reach $75 billion. The investigation continues.
