🔍 What is the average cost on Binance?
Many new traders see the phrase "average cost" under some currencies in the assets section:
"Average Cost" – but what does it really mean? 🤔
📌 Simply put, the average cost is the price at which you bought the currency on average after all the purchases you made.
It means how much you paid in total for each unit of that currency.
🪙 For example:
You bought 50 of the $BMT currency at a price of $0.10 = $5
Then you bought another 50 at a price of $0.20 = $10
✅ Total quantity = 100 coins
✅ Total price = $15
➡️ Average cost = 15 ÷ 100 = $0.15 per $BMT
📈 If the market price rises to more than $0.15$ , you are in profit,
📉 and if it drops below that, you are in temporary loss.
💡 This indicator helps you understand your situation better: Are you holding? Buying more? Or thinking about selling?
Learning to read it is a step towards mastering trading! 🧠🚀
